Arsenal could not take advantage of United's slip up as they drew with Sunderland at home and now United have a great chance of going out there and winning the match against Liverpool in the League and put the title challenge to bed in what will be a huge match for both the sides for different reasons ofcource. United are playing really good football of late but the 2nd half at the bridge was somthing Ferguson would want his players to forget as soon possible and get back to winning ways. Liverpool under new Manager has kind of got back to the good form although their recent push to the european places was hurt by West Ham last week when they were hammered playing away from home by 3-1 in the league and Kenny Daglish will be hoping to revive the form again.

Liverpool are playing at home and it will be the first match for the big signing Andy Carrol who will play some sort of role in the league match against United probably coming from the bench and playing towards the end of the match and he will be very eager to show the manager that he has what it takes to play at the highest level.

Manchester United will be missing some very key players like their Captain, Vidic but they will have to cope without him and also rio Ferdinend which leaves their backline in bad shape while they will play with Berbatove and Rooney leading the line.

In what was a huge match in the Premier League title running United were humbled by Liverpool at Anfield as King Kenny's team went on to defeat Manchester United in the league match. It was Dirk Kuyt who scored all three goals in the match and he put the game beyond United in the first half when he scored a brace.

First Goal came when Luiz Suarez assisted him after a great run with the ball in the penalty box and ball fell nicely for Kuyt to tap in, while second goals was similar with Kuyt heading hom from a very close range.

Video: Nani Injury vs Liverpool - Carragher Tackle on Nani

Nani Went down very dramatically holding his shin while the rest of the players become involved in some pushing and shubings. Phil Dowd went on to calm the situation a bit but united players were furios with the tack on Nani from Liverpool defender jaimi Carragher. and Carragher was rightly booked for a clumsy tackle.

Nani had to leav the field on a stretcher after Carragher's tackle. At first it seemed it was more of theatrical but he seems in real pain and we will have to wait and see if he comes out for the second half.
