The Italian international has gone back to Juventus after his three year stint with Real Madrid. He will join them in July once his deal with the Spanish side expires

A statement on the club's official website reads:

"Fabio Cannavaro again with Juventus from July."

''Juventus football club has deposited the contract of Fabio Cannavaro which will run from July 1, 2009 until June 30, 2010. As noted, the player's contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30 2009."

Here is his explanation about leaving Madrid:

Talking to Radio Marca, Cannavaro says he will

"have Madrid in his heart" and that he has had a "spectacular experience" in the capital, but is disappointed at the lack of success this season.''

"Boluda told me that he could not do anything, that I would have to wait until after the elections...What hurts the most is the fact we have not been able to win the tenth [Champions League]," he said.
this is not the best signing that juventus could have had over the summer. even tho he is a great player i think he is too old to come into the juventus side.
They keep saying that italy is the retirement home and i dont blame them !!
