Liverpool 1-1 Sunderland Highlights Video 13 August 2011

In the opening day of the Premier League season 2011-2012 we will have one very tough game for Liverpool as they host Blackcats at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, 13th August 2011. Liverpool did not buy big in the trasnfer window although they had the cash from Torres sale in the January, partly of which was spent on buying Andy Carrol the England striker. Kenny Daglish has been retained as the manager for this season and under him Liverpool showed great performences towards the end of the season after the dismal start they had.

Now they will be hoping to start on the good note when they take on Sunderland in what can be a trucky fixture as Sunderland do have some very dangerous players who can hurt Liverpool defence which is no longer strong as it use to be. Liverpool will likely to be without their Captain Steven Gerrard who is not match fit and might play as a substitute while Kuyt and Uruguay striker Suarez are likely to partner upfront.
