Liverpool are coming into this match on the back of two great wins, first they managed to defeat Manchester United in the FA Cup 4th round, while they got a premier league win against Wolverhampton which was much needed at the time. Their average season is now turning into shape as they are in the Final of the Carling Cup and they managed to get into the 5th round of the FA Cup as well.



Tottenham on the other hand are fighting for the title at the moment, and they will be looking to repeat the results they had last season here when they went on to beat Liverpool by 2-0 at Anfield. They also in the 5th round of the FA Cup by defeating Watford by 1-0 and they managed to dispose of Wigan Athletic in the Premier League with 3-1 win last week.
