In the big clash on Sunday between Chelsea vs Manchester City at Stamford bridge we have another significant reason to watch this game as Chelsea have sacked their Champions League winner manager Roberto Di Matteo as they lost in the Champions League by 3-0 against Italian Champions Juventus and they immediatly signed Rafael Bentiz the former Liverpool and inter manager on a short term deal towards the end of the season.

This is a match which Chelsea have to win if they need to be in touch with the two Manchester Clubs, going into this match they might be 6 points behind Manchested United if they win their home match against QPR and that makes this fixture really interesting with City on top of the league and they would not like to surrender their top position to United.

What team will be picked on Sunday, this is anybodys guess as we never know with Benitez who like to tweek his teams and one thing is for sure spotlight will be against on Fernando Torres as he will rejoin his manager under whom he had a successfull spell at Liverpool. Chelsea are currently at 3rd place with 24 points to their name and after a great start to the season they have been dropping points as first they lost against West Brom, and before that a 1-1 draw with Liverpool and Swansea City while they also lost in the Champions league and now fight for the qualification.

Manchester City on the other hand demolished Aston Villa last week with a superb Performence of 5-0 and in the midweek they struggled against Real Madrid and drew 1-1 at home and are out of the UEFA Champions League in the group stages in 2nd year running and they will be looking to get a important win here otherwise Roberto mancini will be under pressure in the next few matches as manchester Derby is also coming up in a weeks time.

If we look at the past 5 games between the two sides we can see that Man City have won 3 out of their last 5 matches against Chelsea, and at the start of the season they beat Chelsea by 2-1 in the Community Shield game.
