In the UEFA Champions League matches to be played on Wednesday night we will have some great games to look forward to and it will be interesting to see how this match goes about. Chelsea are in desperate need of a win in the Group games in the Champions League, so far in the first three matches in the group stages they have gained 4 points with a draw, win and loss on the cards. Now they will be hosting Shakter in the 4th matchday of the season and it is a must win specialy when they are playing at home.

Chelsea are coming into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Swansea City and first time in the season they lost their no.1 Premier League position while before that they had a difficult week with two games against Man Utd, in the league they stumbled at home with a 3-2 score while they managed tow win a thriller in the League cup over United with a 5-4 score in the extra time.

Chelsea will be hoping to use the home advantage and get all three points in this match and it will be interesting to see which team Di Matteo puts on the field to face Shakhter as he has some injury worries with Terry and Cole doudtfull for game, and Fernando Torres form has been the same like last year and fans are getting frustrated with his lack of goals although he do contribute to the team with a good link up play with the other three attacking midfielders in the team.
