Liverpool will be hosting Newcastle United in what will be a grea game to look forward too this week which will be played on Sunday. Liverpool are coming into this match on the back of a difficult week in English football, first lastweek they were held to a hard fought draw in the mersyside derby game by a 2-2 scoreline, while in the midweek they were booted out of the English Carling Cup with a 3-1 scoreline by Swansea City and Brendan Rogders is feeling the heat now as Liverpool need to improve on the field.

Liverpool have been playing well of late but results are not going their way at the moment and they do need couple of good signings to make their squad competitive. Liverpool vs Newcastle United is a fixture which always have goals in it and if we look at the past 5 games between the two sides we can see that there is no draw and Liverpool have won 3 games while Newcastle United won 2 and winning team always scored 3 goals.

newcastle United on the other hand have 13 points on the table which is not bad, but considering the fact that they had a great season last year, their benchmark should be higher and if they have to achieve the success of last year they have to be at top of their game and win all three points in this match.
