Highlight of this weeks European football is the Manchester Derby which will be played at Etihad Stadium on Sundeay 9th December 2012 and it is a top of the table clash with both sides hoping for a win and consolidate their position in the league title challenge. Last season both games were won by Manchester City while United won the FA Cup game against City with 3-1 win while City hammered United at Old Trafford with 6-1 win and 1-0 in the home game.

Manchester United are currently leading the Premier League table with a 3 points and if they can clinch all three points in this match they will go 6 clear and will be in great shape to go on and win the league. Although Manchester City dont lose at home thats what their recent home form suggest and United will have to be playing on top of their game in all departments to get somthing out of this match. City are out of Europe and will only concentrate on the league and United will be looking to draw the first blood this season.
