In the English Premier League games to be played on Sunday we have one big games as two Premier league's big spenders go head to head in what will be a great game at Etihad Stadium. Manchester City will be hosting Chelsea while manchester United on Saturday notched up a 15 points lead at the top of the table with 11 games to go and now surely City and Chelsea will be fighting for the 2nd place as United dont look in the mood to through away this huge lead.

Manchester City boss Roberto mancini has conceded that it wont be that bad to finish 2nd behind United, admitting title race is over. But his team will have to keep an eye on Chelsea who are picking up some momentum in the league and if Chelsea can get a win in this match that will open up a 2nd place race and almost killing City little title hopes. City are coming into this match on the back of a 4-0 win over Leeds United while before that they dropped points in last three Premier League games and will be looking to finaly win three points in the league.

Chelsea on the other hand made it to the last 16 round of the Europa League and will be looking to get their hands on the trophy as they are still in business in FA Cup and Europa League, while it will be a direct entry to UEFA Champions League next season if they can finish 2nd and Rafa Benitez will be looking to impress the Chelsea owner by getting all the objectives before the end of the season.

if we look at the past meeting between the sides we can see that both teams have nothing between them and this fixture always produce goals. Chelsea have won twice in the last 5 matches against City, lost 2 and drawn 1 and they will be looking to get somthing out of this match. City seem to be without motivation at the moment and loads of their players are not playing to their usual standards that is why I am going with a smash and grab 2-1 win for the away side.
