Manchester United will be taking on Real Madrid in the 2nd leg of their UEFA Champions League game which will be played at Old Trafford on Tuesday night at around 7:45 BST and you can tune in here to watch the live action of the match here. United have been playing so well in the league and they are currently sitting pretty at top of the league with 12 points difference with 10 games to go and with league already in the bag they will be raring to go at Real madrid in the 2nd leg at Old Trafford after getting a good 1-1 draw at the bernabue.

Manchester United are coming into this match on the back of a 4-0 win over Norwich in the league, with Shinji Kagwa scoring a hattrick while Rooney capped off a great performence with a good goal and 2 assists in the match. Who will be starting for Manchester United is anybodys guess. Reports in the media suggest that Wayne Rooney might not be starting but that is hard to imagin while Sir Alex Ferguson promised to have giggs in the team so that he can make his 1000th appearence for Manchester United, probably from the bench. Jones is ruled out due to injury and that leaves Sir Alex with a sman headech of picking up between Cleverly and Anderson in the midfield.

Real Madrid have kind of turned their season around just at the right time, although they have lost the league but they defeated Barcelona twice in 1 week to show that they are real contenders of Champions league this season, in the midweek they defeated Barcelona 3-1 in Copa Del Rey while in the league they went on to win 2-1 and that shows that the first leg result of 1-1 wont affect their gameplan. They will come to Old Trafford with just one frame of mind and that is to win the match. Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the first leg to make it 1-1 for Jose Mourinho side and he will be the key man for the visiting team.

last time both sides meet in the same competiton was in 2003-2004 season when Real Madrid legend Ronaldo of Brazil scored a stunning hattrick although they lost the 2nd leg but they went on to go through on aggregate with 6-5. Manchester United will be looking to keep Ronaldo quite and try to dispose of Real madrid counter attcking play by playing the defence deep and hitting them on break. Real madrid have to score in this game if they have to stand a chance while United can afford a 0-0 draw but looking at both the teams 0-0 draw is a long shot. I am going with a 2-2 draw in this match and Real madrid to go through.

The build up in the media has been great leading to this match and all eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo who will be making his return to the ground where he spent 5 years playing for Manchester United and it will be an emotional for him. Jose Mourinho will be starting with his trusted formation 4-2-3-1 with Benzema leading the line and Ronaldo, Ozil and Di Maria playing behind him. While manchester United will have Van Persie upfront with Rooney, Welback and kagwa in the attacking role with Van Persie and Cleverly and Carrick will sit deep in the midfield.
