Liverpool on the other hand had a season to forget but they can start some momentum for the next season by finishing off the season strongly.

Livrerpool vs Chelsea Last 5 matches Record
If we look at the last 5 matches between these two sides we can see that in the recent couple of years Liverpool have got the better of Chelsea, Liverpool have won 3 out of their last matches against Chelsea scoring 10 goals and conceding only 4 in the process while Chelsea won the FA Cup tie last season. Chelsea are coming into this match on the back of a wonderful win over fulham where they scored 3 goals, while before that they were beaten by Manchester City and Rubin Kazan in the 2nd Leg.

Liverpool on the other hand had a very inconsistent season, sometime they looked a team full of promise going forward scoring goals and Suarez links up so well with his younger team mates and sometime they look to disjointed and lacks the plan B but that is the sign of rebuilding Liverpool are going through under Brendan Rodgers who has brought in some good young players.
