In the UEFA Champions League final this year we will have an all German Affair on 25th May 2013 at Wembley London in what will be a massive game for both the clubs. Borussia Dortmund who won the German League last year will be looking to end the season on a high and win the UEFA Champions League title while Bayern Munich have lost 2 finals in the last 3 years and they will be looking to finally win the title before new era under Pep Guardiola gets underway.
Bayern Munich's Champions League campaign has been absolutely sensational as they have pulled together great results and performances on the way to the final, they have beaten some of the biggest teams on their way to the final and after dominating a tough group they qualified to the round of 16 where they faced English side Arsenal and in the first leg they absolutely thrashed Arsenal at their own backyard winning the leg 3-1 but their only poor result in the Champions League came in the 2nd leg against Arsenal where they lost 2-0 but made it through to the next round on Aggregate.
Than they moved to quarter finals where they faced Juventus the Italian giants and beat them comfortably 2-0 on both legs to make it to the semifinals of the Champions League on the aggregate of 4-0, while Semifinal saw them took on FC Barcelona and they hammered them at home 4-0 and won the 2nd leg by 3-0 winning the tie on aggregate 7-0.
Borussia Dortmund on the other hand topped the group of death with Champions of England, Man City, Champions of Spain Real Madrid and Ajax the dutch champions which was impressive in its own right, than they beat Shakhtar Dontesk in the Round of 16 and in Quarter finals saw off Malaga in the last two minutes of the tie when they came from behind to win the 2nd leg 3-2 scoring two goals in injury time. Real Madrid was paired with them against in the Semifinal and they beat the Spanish giants 4-1 at home when Lewandowski scored 4 goals while in the return leg they lost 2-0 but made it to the finals where they will be facing Bayern Munich.
