Manchester United have lined up the last Pre Season match which is for Rio Ferdinand Testimonial to be played on 09 August 2013 at Old Trafford in what should be a massive game just before United play their first competitive game against Wigan Athletic later in the week for the community shield. United pre season friendly matches has been just so so in terms of results but pre season is for practice and we will know what kind of improvments United have made going into their Premier League title defence once they play their first competitive game.
As for the Sevilla game its more a exibition match, and the rumours are that Usain bolt will be playing for Manchester United for this one off friendly as Rio Ferdinande convinced David Moyes to have him the squad which will ultimately help sell more tickets and get more attraction to this friendly match. United are of course coming into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Swedish side Aik stockholm.
Wayne Rooney's future at the club looks uncertain and David Moyes have left him out of his plans for the Sevilla games, while United are likely to start with Robin Van Persie and Welback upfront.
